Shared cinematic shoot sessions.

With Yard B Sessions, location and production costs are shared, reducing the point of entry to premium, cinematic thought leadership video content, with each organisation receiving its own private session and a defined set of films and supporting assets.

The standard to expect.

The shared format changes the economics of the production day, not the standard of the work.

This is not a generic content day setup. Each Session is designed to create a cinematic, premium image through a carefully selected location, constructed lighting, cinema grade lenses and professional sound, led by an experienced crew.

It will not be right for every organisation. Yard B Sessions are intended for people and brands whose visual presentation carries weight - whether they operate within a luxury or premium space, depend on trust and credibility, or simply want something distinctive and considered.

Who it’s for.

Yard B Sessions are designed for organisations with something worthwhile to say, but without the need to commission an individual production day every time.

They work particularly well for:

  • Founders and business leaders
  • Expert-led and professional services organisations
  • Marketing teams that need a reliable bank of thoughtful content
  • Organisations launching an idea, service or point of view

The format is best suited to interview-led, insight-led and story-led content.

If your project needs multiple locations, a larger cast, detailed product demonstrations, extensive art direction or a bespoke creative concept, we will recommend a separate Form production instead.

How it works.

01

Register your interest.

Tell us who you are and what you would like to communicate. Registering does not commit you to taking part or require payment.

02

Arrange a date.

Once enough organisations have applied, we’ll contact you to arrange a date. We’ll confirm the location and booking details before you decide whether to take part.

03

We plan, film and deliver.

We agree the focus beforehand, guide you through the filming session and turn the resulting material into your finished content package.

04

Build on the session.

Through Flow, the wider footage and transcript can become further content, while future Sessions provide a consistent way to keep filming.

A few things you may be wondering.

What is shared with the other organisations?

The location, crew and production setup are shared. Your planning, filming session, footage and finished films remain entirely your own.

Will I be filmed alongside anyone else?

No. Each organisation has its own private filming slot. You may briefly cross paths with another participant as filming slots change over, but other clients will not be present within your filming space or involved in your session.

How long will I be at the venue?

Your filming session lasts approximately 75 minutes. Allow around 90 minutes at the venue in total, including arrival and preparation. You will not need to be present for the rest of the production day.

Do I need to write a script?

No. Most Sessions use a guided conversation shaped around the themes agreed beforehand. This generally produces a more natural and engaging result than memorising a script. Where particular wording needs to be delivered precisely, an autocue can be provided by prior arrangement. Any autocue copy must be prepared by you and supplied at least three working days before filming. Scriptwriting and substantial revisions on the day are not included. If you need help developing the message or preparing the content itself, we can scope that separately through Seed.

What type of content works best?

Yard B Sessions are designed primarily for interview-led, insight-led and story-led content: sharing expertise, explaining an idea, introducing a service or communicating a clear point of view. Projects requiring multiple locations, a larger cast, detailed demonstrations or a bespoke creative concept may be better suited to a separate Form production.

What footage will I receive?

You will receive all video footage and usable audio recorded during your allocated session, alongside your three finished films, transcripts and selected stills. Rushes are supplied as recorded and have not been edited, colour graded, mixed or captioned. Editable project files and footage belonging to other participants are not included.

Can I request changes to the finished films?

One consolidated round of feedback is included. We ask you to collect all comments into a single response so they can be addressed together. Changes that significantly alter the themes or direction agreed before filming may need to be quoted separately.

Can the films be used in paid advertising?

The films can be used across your own website, presentations and organic social channels. If you intend to use them for paid advertising, tell us during the planning call so we can confirm whether any additional music, contributor or usage licensing is required.

What if I need more than three films?

Additional edits can be commissioned separately. If you want to turn the footage into a more consistent stream of content, Flow provides an optional route into ongoing planning, editing and content support. There is no requirement to continue beyond the initial Session.

What happens if I can no longer attend?

Places are reserved for a specific date and production costs are committed in advance. The initial 50% payment is therefore non-refundable once the Session has been confirmed. If you let us know early enough, we will make reasonable efforts to fill your place or transfer it to a future Session, but this cannot be guaranteed.

What happens if the Session cannot go ahead?

Registering your interest is initially non-binding, and no payment will be requested until the production day is confirmed. If Yard B subsequently has to cancel the Session, you can transfer your place to a future date or receive a full refund.
