Policy Statement

Yard B is committed to ethical, honest, and respectful marketing practices. This policy outlines our standards for advertising, promotional materials, and customer engagement, ensuring that our brand communications are transparent, accurate, and aligned with our values.

1. Ethical Marketing Practices

We commit to the following principles:

2. Customer Engagement

We aim to build long-term, trust-based relationships with our customers by:

Marketing communications will only be sent where legally permitted, and customers will be provided with clear options to opt out of future marketing communications.

3. Advertising Channels and Content

All content shared across our marketing channels - including social media, websites, and printed materials - must adhere to this policy. We do not support or participate in deceptive or aggressive marketing tactics.

All claims relating to our products, services, pricing, environmental performance or business practices must be accurate, supported by appropriate evidence and not exaggerated or misleading.

All promotional content, including sponsored posts, paid partnerships and endorsements, must be clearly identifiable as advertising where applicable. We will not publish misleading information or engage in practices intended to manipulate customer opinions or purchasing decisions.

We will not create, purchase or knowingly publish fake or misleading customer reviews. Testimonials must accurately reflect genuine customer experiences, and any material incentives or commercial relationships must be disclosed where required.

4. Review and Accountability

Marketing activities and promotional materials are overseen by Lewis Darby, who is responsible for monitoring compliance with this policy. Employees involved in marketing and customer communications will receive appropriate guidance and training on ethical marketing standards.

Any concerns or complaints relating to marketing practices will be investigated and addressed promptly. Where non-compliance is identified, appropriate corrective action will be taken.

This policy will be reviewed annually, or sooner where changes to legislation, industry standards or business operations require it.
